I ordered the Gin & Tonic cake with whipped cream and it was amazing and so flavorful!! My husband who isn't a fan of gin loved it too. It was delivered right to my door during the specified time frame. I will definitely be ordering more!!

We have ordered these special weekly cakes since first hearing about Drunk Confections and their amazingly awesome and witty proprietor (Amelia) in October - I think we're closing in on a dirty dozen!
Especially with all the stress that comes from raising our first child (8 months old) in midst of a global pandemic and rife political world, my wife and I call the D.C. deliveries our "weekly medicine." There is seriously nothing better than settling into a Saturday evening to try a new boozy piece of glazed perfection which was hand delivered to your door earlier in the day.
Amelia deserves a medal... or a monument. Perhaps both?!

These desserts are SO delicious! Amelia is amazing too, she sends the funniest emails every week with the next weeks dessert and they always make me laugh. The Bailey's cheesecake and the bourbon brownies are my top favs, but that changes every time I try something new!!

Amelia will brighten your week with her one off, unique cakes, delivered directly to your door. Early each week, I get a hilarious email letting me know what this weeks creation will be, asking me if I want to opt in and any ways in which I want to specialize my order (by taking out the alcohol for example). The cakes are delicious, honestly each cake I have had so far has been incredible. They sound so intricate but somehow each week, they just work! I order them on a Wednesday for delivery on a Saturday as a treat. I actually ordered a birthday cake separately one week which was also delivered and was a special request for a larger version of a precious cake she had made. I would definitely recommend you trying this at least once. Keep the cakes coming!

Amelia makes delicious, indulgent desserts ... with delivery to your door! The weekly recipes are creative, and the entire process from order to receipt is simple and easy - even entertaining via some good puns thrown into the mix. I've ordered a couple of times and all were yummy yummy! Great way to reward yourself or just relax after a long week. She also provides alcohol free options, which is a plus!

drunk confections is my obsession. my addiction. my guilty pleasure. I try to be healthy, but each treat has me coming back week after week. Plus I'm a sucker for a good pun. Real talk though, the care and compassion Amelia puts into what she bakes is evident in how she delivers your treat, the attention to detail of how it looks, and ultimately the way it tastes. You can truly taste the love (and liquor if you choose!). I can't rave enough about Amelia and her baking endeavors and I can not WAIT to see what's next!

There's nothing quite like a strong cocktail after a long week of work. But when Drunk Confections’ Boss Babe Amelia started touting delicious desserts paired with the best ingredients from a strong cocktail, we knew we needed to jump on board. I’m a big fan of chocolate orange, so her signature Lorenzo (chocolate orange tort with Grand Marnier and candied orange crumble) has been my favorite. A week later, my husband and I found ourselves doubling our order (we didn’t want to share with each other) and loved the key lime pie with Patron whipped topping- it was like eating a vacation! We’re big fans of Drunk Confections- between the local delivery and thoughtful, delicious desserts, we’ve found a new favorite sweet spot.

I can't say enough good things about Amelia's weekly Drunk Confections - the variety, the unique boozy and sugary combinations, the individual servings (who really wants to share anyway?), and she will deliver to YOUR DOOR! I would easily drive to LA for her desserts, but nah, we don't have to. San Diego has its very own boozy Betty Crocker to call our own.
